Kirkland will roll over him just like Lee would in a rematch. That was a fluke if I've ever seen one. I hope Vera is getting paid for this because this will be him cashing back out of relevance.

lee is not nearly as good as your trying to make him man. i agree vera is ****, but lee is sooooo overrated.

I kinda feel sorry for Vera, he's gonna get steamrolled. Is this the first fight Vera's gonna have since beating Lee? If so, this a huge step up in class for him.

Vera is going to get destroyed by Kirkland. There is nothing that Vera does better then Kirkland. Kirkland is better technician and hits harder. I doubt this fight even goes to the second round. That is how much of a mis-match I think it is.

If Vera fights with the same heart that he showed against Andy Lee. This might be a FOTY style fight.

I'm not as confident about this fight as some of you are. Kirkland is wide open and Vera can not only punch, but he is coming down from middleweight with that punch so it will be more effective. I also have questions about Kirkland's chin. I'm not saying that its weak but he just looks funny every time that he gets hit. Could be a balance thing but i guess we will see come fight time, Vera is his best opponent to date.

I'm not! One question I have is whether brian can make the weight comfortably. Dont forget he's only had 3 fights at 160 or lower and fought at 168 on the contender. I think that kirkland can be hurt and Brian should get opportunities. Definitely an action fight.With two limited brawlers, I lean toward the bigger man. I got Vera!
