george's a very cool guy, but didn't always have a great eye for what was happening in the fight. Roy had an unbelievable eye for what was about to unfold about 99% of the time. at least big george was always humble, even a prediction went horribly wrong!

I loved and miss George. His outlandish statements were pure comedy and he sometimes had brilliant insight.

"No one can claim they're pound for pound until they beat James Page."

"Angel Manfredy is one of the greatest lightweights ever!"

"I don't like the way the sweat is rolling off Roy Jones' head tonight...it's just rolling off...pitifully."

              We miss you, George.

Of that list, Roy without a doubt. Now that he and HBO are playing nice-nice again, I hope they wise up and bring him back the moment he decides he'd like to return to broadcasting.

I like Iceman on ESPN Classic fights, and the man has a ridiculous wealth of boxing knowledge. I'd like to hear him call live fights before claiming him as the best, though the potential is clearly there for him to be at least better than everyone else that's around today.
