Laddie no serial killer file is sadder than Carroll Edward Cole's.

I guess the point is that we are all killers. It's a natural animal instinct to kill for survival and food.
We are just brought up to think that we are separate from animals but essentially we are just more intelligent than them. If you have a violent childhood, it must be fecking difficult to suppress those murderous instincts.
When you take a look at modern culture, women are easy pickings nowadays. I'm actually surprised we don't see more of it in the UK.Comment

I'm not surprised you haven't heard of him, most people haven't.
Here's the gist of it.
His mother gave him a girls name because she wanted a daughter instead. She dressed him like a girl in dresses and made him act as a servant while she "entertained" (had sex with) male visitors infront of him.
Everybody at school teased him about his name, and his mother beat and abused him on a daily basis. One day while swimming with some kids at a local lake, he drowned one of them for continuing to make fun of his name. He was 9 at the time of his first murder.
He was ranked as a genius during high school, with an IQ of 152.
He worked many **** jobs and did occasional burglaries, liquor stores and whatnot and basically became a drifter and petty thief.
He ended up moving back in with his mother and began to suffer from nightmares in which he was killing and raping women who looked like his mother.
He turned to alcohol to try to kick the dreams, but over time it got worse. As his criminal record for burglary and theft grew with it.
One night he approached a police officer on the street, and confessed to the Officer the eerie details of his dreams, and the cop laughed him off.
He went to the police station several days later and told the clerk there the exact same story, and again, they laughed him off. They gave him a bus ticket to San Diego, and set up a mental health evaluation there for him just to be sure.
Mental health professionals diagnosed this man as having a clean bill of mental health and deemed him not a threat to himself or others and released him.
He wanted a second opinion, and they referred him selsewhere. Where he committed himself for 90 days of examination, and was eventually given another clean bill of health.
Then he married a junkie **********, he became convinced she was cheating on him and he burned down the apartment complex where they lived. He did a few years for that but was released.
Then he began attacking random strangers in parked cars with a hammer, he got 30 days for assault with a deadly weapon, and was once again released.
Then he attempted suicide, and lived. He got 4 days in the Psych ward for that.
Then he attempted to strangle two women one night at a bar in Reno, and they managed to escape. Surrendered to Reno police and confessed his urges to murder women; was detained and charged with "disorderly conduct".
Basically this **** goes on for YEARS.Comment
