Precisely why it's hilarious, the investigators had their heads so far up their own asses they were literally trying to pin it on guys several States away.

I noticed Dennis Rader AKA BTK killer on the cover of that book. I remember watching a documentary on the killings and investigations a while back and thinking all them years they searched for BTK, not knowing that he was under there noses the whole time sent shivers down my spine.

Yeah, that's Rader, the BTK killer. It's a chilling subject matter for sure but it's amazing to read some of the insane details of the case files, it's hard to put down once you start reading it.

He actually stopped for around a decade I think, which for a killer like Rader is extremely rare.

During this period he used to go to his Kid's tree house and act out the torture and murder of people in his head.

That's the part that stumps me. Why? and then out of the blue, he sends the old bill a letter saying he's going to make his next killing?

I find it hard to believe that it was all Rader's own work?

I believe serial killers can have moments of clarity, but 10 years is a long ****in' time to suppress impulses.

I believe Albert De Salvo ( The Boston Strangler ) was completely innocent.

Radar, Just gave into impulses IMO. He was either scared ****less by his church going antics and tried to make do for his antics.

A sort of self-gratifying guilt that he could he could use to live with himself.
