I'm against arbitrary rules in general. If the fight calls for a rematch, make it. It shouldn't be caused by one judge.

Lets have another rule for more pointless fights, twice the amount of re matches instead of new fights and guys getting even less of an opportunity to face top competion, hindering careers, unifications, rankings, viewing numbers, PPV's, and more.

      Yer great idea.

      How about, no.

Usually, The three judges sit on different sides of the ring, they are not clumped up together. So, it is possible that one judge has a bad angle to view the punches. 2 judges might see a punch blocked while 1 judge might see a punch connect. Depends on the angle. Although there have been completely outrageous decisions made in boxing history, If the judging was fair then the decision should stand.

            Diaz-Katsidis. Worst SD in history.

Horrible idea obviously if you think about how many fights end up in absolute unexplainable SD's

No, it depends on how close the fight actually was, sometimes judges' scores confuse me.

No there shouldn't be a rematch unless it's signed in the pre fight contract. I don't think it should be forced as it defeats the purpose of a win, it pretty much sees the match as a draw.

What about a mandatory rematch rule specifically for title fights if they result in a SD (or a draw)?
