As for Sammy Ventura, I suppose it's an apt tune up for Marco, but honestly the last time I saw him (against Pac the 2nd time) he didn't look that far gone. He still had his wits, reflexes, etc... He just didn't want to fight.

Here's hoping he gets that spark back, he's certainly got a bit of fuel left in the tank.

Things got really ugly between those two guys (Barrera and Morales).

I always liked Marco a little more because of the way he had to dig deep to resurrect his career, I've always liked Erik too but just for different reasons.

I hadn't heard about them making up, if that's really true I think that's amazing. It's always something to see two career rivals finally get over their hatred and accept each other.

Can't say I blame him for not wanting to war with Pac, though it was rather "un-Mexican" of him. Or at least in the tradiiton of Mexican warriors anyawy, Erik went out on his shield, brave son of a ***** that guy is. Can't say I'd have done that.

i have no doubt he can win an interim belt
as for the regular bet i think the belts wont be unified for long so he could fight for a vacant alphabet, barrera is still a very good boxer and didnt looked like he was shot to pieces
