Dude has a record of 25-19-0.

I love Barrera but c'mon now Marco, why not just dig up Joe Louis while you're at it?

He should've gotten Billy Dib instead.

Now that I'd pay to see.

Barrera would **** that kid, repeatedly and without consent.

Billy Dib literally pisses me the fuck off. God the fight w/ Luevano made Ruiz-Valuev look like Hearns-Hagler.

I made an entire thread about how badly Dib was pissing me off that night. Got a ton of likeminded responses.

Luevano too, I have no use for a guy that couldn't pull the trigger on Dib for 12 rounds.

He would tag Dib good, and then smile at him like he was going to unleash hell on him, only to let Billy off the hook to backpeddle away and showboat.

To hell with both of them.

Luevano is ****, man I would like to see Linares or Guerrero knocking him the f#$% out.

I almost forgot that this thread was about Barrera. Why he did that? he wasn't that time out of the game, to say like Foreman. C'mon.

Come on now, if Great Chavez is able to fight bums most of his career, why can't Marco get a bit on his resume?

Chavez fought a lot of taxi drivers, no doubt. But he fought a lot of greats as well.

As for Sammy Ventura, I suppose it's an apt tune up for Marco, but honestly the last time I saw him (against Pac the 2nd time) he didn't look that far gone. He still had his wits, reflexes, etc... He just didn't want to fight.

Here's hoping he gets that spark back, he's certainly got a bit of fuel left in the tank.
