    Exactly

How does a guy who lost to Carlos Quintana, have the audacity to talk as much as Paul Williams is talking......As far as him fighting Margarito again, I firmly believe the only reason Paul won their fight was because Margarito had a very slow start, basically giving away the early rounds....AS everyone could clearly attest to, Williams was fading badly as the fight went on, and Margarito still made it a close fight.....Paul you are a very good fighter, try showing a little humility and let your ability speak for itself.........

would paul quit it. he ain't no B-Hop. can u imagine Hopkins losing to a Quintana even on a bad night. These dudes that ain't did nothing need to humble just a bit and fight beat somebody before they start runnig off at the lip. He not even nice, if he keep fighting at 160 and fight the elites he wil lose. Pavlik, taylor, Abraham, even Miranda could prolly get him. Paul go work on that lazy jab and put some zip on it.

Right after Williams waste his time & beats Clottey the haters will then say "well Margarito already beat Clottey, so what". Only a few idiots on Boxinscene would rather see Williams/Clottey than Pavlik/Williams.
you ****en hypocrite. you were one of the idiots saying Clottey WAS beating and CAN beat Margarito.

Great to finally be able to post. Did you actually watch the fight? Hopkins took Pavliks 1 weapon away from him by moving to his right, Pavliks left. That pretty much nullified his right hand which at that point he had to throw it across his body. Williams being a southpaw naturally pivots on his right foot to his left so unless Pavlik gets mobile enough to cut the ring off (which he couldnt do against a 43 year old fighter who stands in the pocket), he certainly has no chance of catching Williams. Hopkins wasnt fighting a Mayweather/James Toney type of defense by standing in the pocket and slipping and blocking shots. I was moving away from Pavliks one weapon. Williams would probably knock Pavlik out cause Pavlik has NO DEFENSE and is only successful against fighters who back straight up (Miranda, Taylor etc).

And for those of you riding Williams for fighting Kolle, how many years in a row has Gary Lockett won fighter of the year?

It never ceases to amaze me how so many Fraudgarito fans seem to find an excuse for Tony losing that fight. Didnt Tony start slow with Cotto? Wasn't Cotto hitting him with 4 punch combinations easily up until the 6th round? Margarito won didnt he? And didnt he start fast with Golden Johnson and Kermit Cintron? It's like you all are saying Tony just stood there till the 7th or 8 round not throwing anything. He lost the fight because he faced the better man.

And so what Williams lost a DECISION to Quintana. Unlike Fraudgarito, when Williams lost the DECISION to Quintana, he went back and blew Quintana out in 45 seconds. KO. Fraudgarito who lost a decision to Williams is ONLY making excuses and wants to fight a guy thats past his prime and struggled with Mayorga (Mosley), that has no interest in fighting him and looking for dudes 3-4 weight classes under him in Pacquiao(De La Hoya), or a guy he stopped (Cotto).

            Tony is a coward, PERIOD

Yes, Hopkins and Williams may both move to the left, but so did McKart who, despite being shot, was probably a smarter fighter than Williams is now. Of course, Williams is more talented, but Pavlik's own abilities negate this for the most part.

If the Williams that fought Margarito and Quintana turns up, I'd be surprised if he lasts the distance. Perhaps Williams has improved since then, but his fights have been so short that it's hard to tell.

The difference in skill, strength, power, experience, defence etc. between Hopkins and Williams is pretty big, which makes it hard to imagine that Williams could implement the same plan in the same way and have the same results.

And you're right, Lockett wasn't much of an opponent either, which is why both he and Kolle get mocked on here.

              Welcome to the board btw

I find no fault in a fighter's self belief especially a guy who for the most part has backed up his claims. It sure is a refreshing break from the whole "I will fight anyone my ______ tells me to" or "it will be a good fight" type of spew he seem to hear of late
I'm glad some people can understand a joke when its being presented....

Pretty sure Marg tried to do the same thing, but he couldn't get an immediate rematch.

Its easy for Williams to say that he would've beat Pav like Hop, but its another thing for him to actually do it. I'd like to see that fight, but he should worry about what he's doing and not what other people are or aren't

And history says that PW beat Fraudgarito no matter how many excuses you give Tony for losing. Maybe Tony is smart enough to know he cant beat him.
