In his prime, Quartey had the best jab in the game. Easy. And one of the best ever.

He was definitely a hell of a fighter. I always liked him the most between him, Trinidad, and De La Hoya. I liked Tito a lot too. I wish they would've fought.

Tito and Ike agreed to fight when Oscar swooped in at the last moment and made a sweeter offer to Ike. At the time, Ike hadn't fought in nearly a year. Then Oscar made sure he was even rustier by postponing the fight three months after the initial date. And STILL lost in the eyes of many to an Ike who was clearly not the same fighter.

DLH got lucky on the cards. People who say DLH won, probably like to remember DLH's late rally, rather than how many rounds DLH stood there doing nothing, and doing even less than Ike did. The fight wasn't even hard to score, unlike other controversial DLH fights.

For Quartey to be off nearly a year and a half and do that to a fighter like DLH, shows how good Ike was.

But one question, how could DLH have postponed it 3 months, if he had fought Chavez 5 months earlier?

Two big fights, PPV fights, with one guy just 2 months apart?

if i could pick any fighter in the world in the last 10 or so years to beat mayweather at 147 i'd pick quartey.

that jab is something terrible, he's got a 80% chance of beating mayweather imo

Wow, that jab reduced the opponent's eyes to mere slits!

              Okay, I'm kidding.

But WOW what a jab. That was sick. The 3 minute mark is more impressive to me. Jab, jab, jab, jab at will. And that is a hurting jab too.

I think he fought Chavez in September - that was a tuneup lol. Ike was set for November 21st. Postponed it to Feb 13th?

Very true. Ike won that fight. I always thought he was the best outta the three. I was watching that **** with my dad. He still gets burned up about it to this day.

When you can get a TKO on almost all jabs, that's when you know you're a badass.
