What he's doing is some real throwback ****. For one, he's active as hell, fighting every other month it seems, two, he'll fight anyone, anytime and three he's trying to become a champion in three, maybe four weight classes at the same time.

That's pretty crazy for this day and age if you ask me.

After he beats Phillips, he'll have a belt at 147, 154 and who knows, maybe he'll get a crack at Pavlik. Wouldn't that be somethin if he were to win? If so, you'd be forced to put him in the top 3 or 4 pound 4 pound imo.

Honestly, that is what I don't like about Paul. I don't like the fact that he isn't gonna take it step by step. Infact, that kind of disgusts me. I'm a fan but I ain't cool with the fight someone at 160 then 154 then 147 then 168

he is active becuase his fights have lasted 1 round.......and verno is an easy belt...in the past he was active first because he had almost no am experience, and later because he needs to keep on shape, otherwise he'd balloon up and not be able to make weight(something joan guzman should have done)....

Shouldn't be a problem for Williams since he likes to fight so frequently. But we'll see how he does.

Based on what I've seen from him, I don't think he'll turn down a fight with anyone, even if they are smaller names. It doesn't seem like Williams is after big paydays like other fighters.

the fight with marg definently needs to happen, imo if i could make one fight and one fight only then this would be that fight, the welterweight division is deep and imo needs a defintive champion.

i think paul williams needs to stay active and he seems to be one of those fighters who needs to stay in training to prevent himself from getting too big, otherwise he could reach a stage where he can no longer make the 147 limit.

he should go after winky wright or daniel dos santos, i think that way marg would take him on. if he beats dos santos then marg will be looking to beat him to show that he can cut it at the 154 limit. if he beats winky wright or any other name at 154 then it makes PW the man at light middle and would put the no.1 spots for the WW and LM rankings on the line.

no, it was because williams wouldn't accept 1.5 million.....so he clearly cares for the money.....thats why arum doesnt want more bussiness with haymon-goosen, because they were not flexible to HBO budget and thus, Pavlik had to fight on PPV.......

There's articles that say the fight was offered to williams and they pulled out. That's why you have arum now stating he wont deal with hayman.
