Trinidad hasn't knocked anyone out over 160 although he only has had 1 fight there, Calzaghe has had 32 KOs/TKOs at 168 so I'm going with Calzaghe, he has good power when he sits on his punches.

Pound for pound, Trinidad is definitely the more powerful puncher though.

I am just saying that Tito is a man who punches very, very hard whether or not he is watered down at a weight class. Joe just doesnt have any power behind his shots anymore, he his Kessler a thousand times and didnt do any damage at all.
      No hate brother.
Watch round 8 of their fight. Calzaghe lands some good body shots on Kessler and it clearly has an effect. This is commented on by both Manny Steward and Harold Lederman.

Watch the part of Tito-Roy where Tito connects with body shots that are a bit low. Roy basically says "it's OK referee, this doesn't hurt, let him carry on doing it".

IMO, Kessler should be able to take a better body shot than Roy. Maybe that isn't the case, but if you're picking the Kessler fight as a comparison, then Calzaghe did more damage in round 8 than Tito did in the entire fight with RJ.

Trinidad is the harder puncher. Hands down.

This thread is silly. Of course it's Calzaghe. Do some people really think Calzaghe punches at 100% power all the time? Jesus.

i think roy can take a better bodyshot than Kessler...

over 12 rounds calzaghes punches would have more effect
but 1 punch power goes to trinidad.

Kessler buckled from a body shot... bear in mind that Joe doesn't sit down on any punches any more.

Personally I can't believe that people are voting Tito... Tito hits VERY hard as a welter, and considerably hard as a middle.... but Joe's a natural LHW.

It's like saying who hits the hardest, the most feather-fisted heavyweight or Manny Pacquaio? The answer's still Zuri Lawrence.
