i like hamed, but i think pac stops him... if not, then he wins a wide unanimous decision.

Pacquiao vs Hamed?

Hamed would have been the naturally bigger guy, he hit harder with one punch and he was about as fast as Pacquiao, would be a close fight though, Pacquiao could knock Hamed down a few times because Hamed used to like to lean back when his opponents rushed forward and normally got knocked down because of this, hurt or not. Hamed could certainly knock Pacquiao down a few times as well, Hamed has more of a chance knocking out Pacquiao than the other way round IMO.

Hamed's prime was at a time in the sport when "AVOIDING" fighters was considered 'Okay.' lol I mean in those days fighters like Roy Jones got cash for fightin nobodies.
I mean at that same time Marquez was hitting like a wrecking ball on + 10 speed. But Steward (Hamed's trainer) shamelessly avoided Marquez, they took Barrera instead after Barrera had lost to Junior Jones (Who Erik Plowed through) and Hamed couldn't even deal with that kind of pressure.
Hamed was a fighter that was taken care of and baby sitted way too much. He was never ready to face a real hard hitter or a fighter that could put pressure on him. Just like Manny Pacquiao of today. Manny faces a pressure fighter like Morales in Eriks last big fight, Manny gets torn up. Manny faces Marquez, and cant even get by him without controversy.
But out of Hamed and Paq, even though they share the same lame ass attributes by having weak trainers that are afraid of puttin em in with equally skilled and youthfull fighters.....I don't know. Hamed could ****, so can Paq. Every time Paq gets hit, he becomes a different fighter. You can tell he doesnt like to get stung. He gets more attentitive.
So who wins? I can't call it..

But Anyways, this is about Hamed and Paq. Two fighters who had protected careers by their crazy trainers. As for who wins between Paq and Hamed...It's hard to tell. When Paq gets hit by a legitmate hitter, he becomes a different figther.

Hamed and his team jumped at the Barrera match, claiming that they believed he truly won the fight against Morales and, hence, deserved the shot.
They were right but left out one thing...the REAL reason why they picked Barrera is because he looked faded, slow and lethargic against Jose Louis Valbuena. They thought they were catching him at the right time. I'll never forget Manny Steward's expression and reactionwhen Barrera tore through Jesus Salud. He knew right then and there they had made a mistake. So did the rest of the world.

Probably why he never had to face Soto or Guzman back in the day.
