Hopkins' feat is fresh in everyone's mind so I wouldn't be surprised if most people voted for Hopkins and he definitely deserves it. Barrera or Pacquiao have the best resumes though IMO.

I can't imagine any reason why Pacquiao is so far ahead of Trinidad that Felix doesn't even deserve to be mentioned...

Probably Hopkins as of this moment. Barrera shouldn't be left out of consideration though.

What are Barrera's marquis wins that put him up there in resume Silencers? If you say, it must be true, but I can't really think of many really great victories that he has other than:

          Morales II
          Morales III
          Hamed

Then he has some pretty good victories against:
          Ayala
          Tapia

Obviously I'm missing some. Complete my list please!

I'd probably go in this order:

              Hopkins
              Pacquiao
              Barrera
              Trinidad
              Mosley

Morales x2, Hamed, McKinney were his best. Good or decent wins over Tapia, Ayala, Sanchez, Peden and Juarez.

I see your point, Silencers. It really was close between Manny and B-Hop for me.

You know why? IMO the win of manny over barrera (lock hof) and morales (lock hof) at their prime is such a great legacy... and for B-hop his win over a prime pavlik (fresh in my mind), oscar, trinidad etc is just too much for trinidad's legacy.. thats why i choose both... and trinidad loss his important fights... wright, bhop and jones(even they are both not in their prime)...

Now I'm REALLY regretting putting Barrera so low. If wmute and Manchine say Barrera > Trinidad, I'm definitely changing my mind. The fab 4 can't all be wrong.

See, McKinney just doesn't seem like that great of a name IMO. He was okay, but... idk, just never really seemed to get there. I was shocked at how bad he was getting beaten to the punch by Junior Jones, until (gasp!) Jones's chin failed him... again.

Morales's losses to Pacquiao were in no way his prime. You can argue not shot, and how little deterioration he had, but... I just watched Barrera-Morales III the other night, and he looked worse than he usually did in that fight. Couple that with the absolute fiasco against Zahir Raheem... idk how you can say morales was prime.

Trinidad beat Vargas, Whitaker, De La Hoya, etc. Pretty damn good names to compare with the Mexican featherweight trio of Barrera, Morales and Marquez IMO.
