Will there ever be a chinese heavyweight champion?

I know Chinese people usually compete in lower weight classes. But I would like to see some Asian heavyweights take the stage for a change. Americans and Europena's have dominated the heavyweight division for years. I would like to see a fictional type of character, like a Bolo Yeung or even a Tong Po become the heavyweight champion. It would at least bring some excitement back to the heavyweight division. I don't think that is racist since statistics would validate that point. Eventually there will be Asian heavyweights though.

If we want to use as broad of a term as ever then yes...unless boxing is outlawed I am sure one day there will be a chinese heavyweight champion...just none in the foreseeable future.

Bolo Yeung was a former Hong Kong bodybuilding champion.Just because he "looked" the part,doesn't mean he would be any good as a professional fighter.
