I don't like Marciano's chances.

Yeah, Tyson gets discouraged and impatient (too often looks for one bomb rather than setting up the big shots), but guys like Douglas and Holyfield were different stylistically. They had the styles (and size) to outbox him from the outside, use their jabs, clinch up close, push him around, etc...

Marciano in his prime would be giving up a good 30 lbs on Tyson. For once, Tyson would actually not be at a reach disadvantage.

Marciano being scared or not wouldn't matter, IMO. That whole thing with Tyson is blown out of proportion. Yeah, you have to fight to win and not be too scared, of course, but you also need the ability and style to win the fight.

Other guys weren't scared, or didn't fight like they were scared, but still lost to Tyson because they didn't have the ability/style to beat him.

Marciano gets too much venom on the boards for my liking. He may have not been in a talented era, but he for the most part beat the best guys around him, and gave rematches to the guys he beat who gave him hell (unlike guys like Holmes and DLH), and won the rematches decisively.

But here, I don't like his chances. At all.

every fighters scared ...its the courage that overcomes the fear ...he could fear him and over come it with courage easily ..absolutely no way marciano fears tyson thow...ask tyson himself ...he wishes he was marciano ..and the 3 rounds? no way tyson would get tkoed in the 14th or 15th ..back then they were 2 tough
