I woulda thought Boytsov already fought someone of Rays calibre.

Odd how Eastern guys usualy take a long time (or take their time) to move up, yet fat boy man child Povetkin is already fighting Wlad.....talk about out of ordinary.

Universum has only given him two fights this year - he wanted more, and he should to fight four times at least to keep improving.

I hate lazy, neglectful, cheap promoters. The best decision the Klitschkos ever made was to break away from Universum.

yea but Boytsov is 22, while Povetkin is around 29. Hes not exactly amazingly young.

Hey, do you know if Thompson is actually fighting Tony sometime soon?

I really have no idea, but I would love that fight.

it would really piss me off if Thompson never fights again/only fights weak opposition, cause then Id have to switch to Andrade as my favorite fighter, because hes a manager at a Jack-in-the-Box

              Good point.

Im just having a hard time accepting the fact that Povetkin is still under 20 fights...Man he's gonna get a whoopin like hes never seen before.

Boytson is too short in my opinion......for a heavyweight. I think these days you have to be 6'3" minimum or be one of those long limbed guys.

He's 6'1" 220now and looks deezed, any more weight he's going to pack too much muscle.

I dont think hes too short or too small at all. I dont think he fights smart for his size though. he seems too stiff at times and needs more boxing ability, and does more blocking than bobbing and weaving, which I think is a bad thing for his body type.

                but...he has time to improve.

Dimitrenko will get his chance eventually. Might be a long time though.

Dont get me wrong, anyone over 6 feet and 200lb is a big guy, but if the tall guys of the division continue to utilize the jab like Wlad, Vit, Lennox...the shorter guys will have a tough time.

Im talking about general trends, not any fighter in particular...

Dimitrenko will be Wlad's next WBO mandatory.
