it would probably be for the wbo title only with wbo judges in puerto rico i still give canchilla a nice chance i just think calderon is too damn short
Partial unification then, the article doesn't mention anything about Canchilla getting his title stripped, Calderon should become the interim WBA titlist as well which would set up a fight between him and the regular titlist.

Calderon is one of those boxers who can overcome his physical disadvantages with his skills.

I thought Cazares beat him the first time around, but Calderon looked great in the rematch. I don't see anyone beating up at 108. MAYBE Ulises Solis could KO him.

You think cazarez won the firts one. based on what ?? Cazarez won 2 rounds of that fight that was it. rounds 8 and 9 , the rest where Calderons, clearly.

should be a good an interesting fight . . . calderon should easily get the win but canchila at least brings decent power and skill. but calderon vs. solis is the fight that i really want to see happen, but this should be good in the interim.

This is a great match up. I love Cachilla vs Segura. Should be good and I wouldn't be surprised if Canchilla KOd him. Obviously I wouldn't bet on it, but still.

Im with canchila on this one based on how he outclassed Segura in his last fight ... Calderon is not so good in 108 his too short..Solis vs calderon would be great fight...

He is not that good at 108? And he beat the best 108 pounder Hugo Cazarez twice. Not to mentioned that cazarez is 6 inches taller, and was like 20 pounds heavier in each of the 2 fights. Plus he beat Juan esquer and he gave shoutout to former 108 champ Nelson Dieppa. so how Calderon is not that good at 108?

Are you crazy? how cazarez won the firts fight. Trowing and missing for 12 rounds doesnt win you a fight. Ivan won the first 7 rounds of the first fight and lost 8 and 9, and won 10-11 and lost the 12. And in the second fight Ivan won every single round. So I think you just hate Calderon. Cuz he has beat very good competition at 108 including the former best 108 pounder Cazarez.
