There is some talk going on about a possible bout between WBO junior flyweight champion Ivan Calderon (32-0, 6KOs) of Puerto Rico and WBA interim-junior flyweight champ Cesar Canchila (27-1, 21KOs) of Colombia. [details]

      Calderon easy UD!!!!
Calderon is the best Pure boxer on the sport right Now. the only way I see him losing is if he goes to 112 and fights a guy like Donaire. Matter of Facts i think donaire is the only one who can beat him from 105lbs to 112lbs.

He is definitely very hard to beat at 108, the only one that can possibly do it is Solis IMO but I wouldn't pick him to win.

I dont think solis can beat Calderon. Calderon already beat the hugely bigger fighter Cazarez that was the best 108 pounder, twice. but a respect your opinion. Your one of the posters I most respect in boxinscene!!!!

              Thanks.

I wouldn't pick Solis to win but it could possibly be Calderon's toughest fight at the weight.

                Agreed!

That is a very overdue unification match. He is getting frustrated coz anyone wanted to unify at 105, then he moved to 108 and WBC champ Edgar Sosa is fighting 100 bums a year and Solis seems uninterested. So, Cancilla is the only one, my respect to him.

Calderon-Solis is a fight I'd love to see but it doesn't look like it'll happen, so I'm OK with a Canchilla fight, a unification fight is good for the most part.

it wouldnt be an unification since canchilla is the interim champion the full champ is frenchman brahim asloum who seems to be having troubles with his managers
it would probably be for the wbo title only with wbo judges in puerto rico i still give canchilla a nice chance i just think calderon is too damn short
