Noone doesn't have problems with a prime BHop. Def would have been a competitive fight, I just think prime Roy would have had a little too much.Comment

Who do you got now? I actually think Hopkins embarrasses Roy now. Roys reflexes are **** compared to what they were in his prime. And I also think Roy wouldn't have beaten Pavlik, but thats just my opinion(the roy of now).Comment

the promoter is USUALLY who pays you. That being said was RJJ expecting Hopkins to draw up his own contract with out his promoter and fax it to him?
use your head Ree****yalus..
you said so YOURSELF..that Roy told Hop to send him a contract. Why didnt he says lets together and do one. PLus these things are negotiatable..they have to start somewhere..Comment

I would say I haven't seen enough from Roy over the past few years to suggest he would be able to beat the Hopkins that fought Pavlik the other night. I hope to be pleasantly surprised against Calzaghe though.Comment

Joe had fired his manager and was without promotion though. It was easier to be free of these middle men cause he wasn't still bound to a contract. Bernard on the other hand, is a president of Golden Boy East, and can't break his ties so easily. Besides, he wanted to beat the man who beat Roy instead and is now looking to wait for Roy to generate the kind of money they both deserve to make for their final megafight.Comment
