My point is it doesnt matter who I "think" can do what. Untill he holds all the belts and beats all the top guys, he isnt "undisputed" champion. If you left things like that open to opinion we would have 100 diff. undisputed champions in boxing.

It doesn't make him undisputed though, he must win all the belts or I think 3 of them to be "undisputed"

Im not saying he dont have what it takes to unify and become undisputed champion. Im just saying that he hasn't done it yet. No one should be credited with achievments just because they have the ability to achieve them. You gotta put in the work n do it.

That is a good point. But you have to keep in mind that Verno really is up there in age, and lately Paul has shown a lot of power when hes sits down on his punches.
Either way I think it will be a good fight, and Williams is gonna get him.

no this is for the WBO Interm title at 154. i dont see why since the WBO champ Sergio is defending his real WBO title vs Julio on 11/1. then the IBF isnt on the line.

Promoter Dan Goossen will announce on Wednesday a showdown between WBO welterweight champ Paul "The Punisher" Williams and IBF junior middleweight champ Verno Phillips, expected to take place on November 29th at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California. The bout, which will be for the WBO interim 154lb title, will be Williams' second consecutive bout outside the welterweight division. In the co-feature, unbeaten heavyweight Cristobal "The Nightmare" Arreola takes on Travis Walker. Both bouts will be shown on HBO.
