No, remember everyone is like Cotto beaks men. The classic line Cotto doesn't beat you, he beats you up. The hype surrounding this guy was a joke, Comparing him to the likes of Tito Mayweather and Oscar was a complete and utter joke. He got exposed worse than Pavlik. Qutting like a cowad in front of his fan and family. Cotto brings shame to Peurto Rico

Its alway difficult for boxers to lose for the first time, Its a mental thing that cannot be replace. They can overcome it but they cant lose the feeling that they got beat in a bad way so they look for any sort of excuse.

Lacy made so much excuse for his lost to joe calzaghe including blaming his promoter for having the fight stage in Wales, Hatton was still at it yesterday making excuses for his lost to Mayweather blaming the referee, We are all humans and we all handle thing differently.

But...what if that's how he really feels?

Have none of you ever played any sports? You've never had a bad game? Never had a game where you knew you were better but just couldn't perform?

It happens, and I don't think it takes away from Hopkin's victory. He perfromed brilliantly, and all that matters is how you perform on game day.

And that's what Pavlik has said. He wasn't takingbaway from Hopkin's performance.

"It wasnt so much Hopkins, It was me, i couldnt get off"
C'mon man, you have got to be fucking ****ting me... Hopkins did ALL of that to you, he was the reason why you couldnt double your fucking jab (as per Jack Loew).

I like Kelly but if he keeps this ****ty attitude up I'm going to slowly start disliking him. I'm letting it slide for now because it's his first loss so he must feel mentally ****d.

I just wanted to get that out there.
It's SO rare to see a fighter NOT do that. Then you've got to realize this was his first loss. I think it's completely understandable. Nearly everyone does it.

Bernard Hopkins? He'll just say he won.

Roy Jones? I can't get up for him.

                Oscar De La Hoya? Oysters.

Even Calzaghe explained away his performance against Hops by saying he underestimated him.

That's just the nature of a fighter.

I sure there are many Pavlik fans in Youngstown, OH that are very dissappointed in him. With Hopkins being a 4-1 underdog in this fight, 43 years old, many thought he was sure to lose and even taste the canvas for the first time in his career. I can only imagine the large number of people that lost money betting on Pavlik to beat Hopkins.

Pavlik got to the top with about 80% brute force and 20% finesse

He will have to balance them closer if he wants to stay there. He has some good skills, but he needs some fine tuning especially with movement. If he can capture that, he will be fine.
