He also said Hopkins isn't that great of a boxer and he said the reason he lost wasn't because of Hopkins. Hopkins schooled him and he couldn't admit it was all to do with B-Hop.

He said something along the lines of "Hopkins isn't that good, I mean, Jermain Taylor beat him twice and I beat Jermain Taylor twice..." almost using Taylor's name as a way to show that Hopkins was not great, because 'if Taylor could beat him, well then he must not be better than me' kind of attitude.

I thought it was a little immature on his part, but he was clearly upset and looked like a little kid who'd just found out there was no Santa Claus and was still trying to come to grips with it .

Pavlik sucks and showed no potential in his fight with Hopkins. How the hell did this kid beat Taylor and Miranda?
I have no doubt that a rematch with either will have Pavlik schooled again, now that his 1 dimentionalness has been figured out and how vulnerable he is to changes in styles against him.

"Hopkins is good, but it wasn't cause of him that I lost, it just wasn't me in there" or smth like that again.

That was one of the most sore-loser, moronic interview by Pavlik besides him saying before the fight that Bhop has never faced before a strong puncher like Pavlik.

I used to love Pavlik but as of late him and his team have been on a power trip that thank god stopped.
Pretty lame on Pavlik's part to say such things as if Bernard didn't give him enough of a reality check. He's still in denial.

You mean the higher weight that both Pavlik and leow said would be to there advantage cuase he wouldnt have to kill himself to make 160?? "I will be stronger at this weight" pavlik said.

He should've said stronger and slower.

                Here is the quote:

"It's not that he's that good, I mean, for crying out loud he lost to Jermain Taylor twice. I beat Jermain Taylor twice, I beat him by decision and I knocked him out. It has nothing to do with his athleticism or his craftiness. Jermain Taylor hit him at will, Calzaghe hit him at will, I just didn't have anything."
