Styles make fights.

Bernard used a lot of movement in the fight and frustrated Pavlik.

Calzaghe would be a diffrent fight. I would probaly Favor Pavlik in that fight if it ever happened.

I just cant fathom how some people say Pavlic would beat Calzaghe !
Pavlick would get beat worse against Calzaghe IMO !
And his fight the other night against Hopkins compounded it for us!
Pavlic just dont fight well against crafty counter punchers,infact he didnt have a clue did he! ?
How could anybody possibly pic him against Calzaghe whos younger/fresher and moves even better then hopkins is beyond me!?..

Of course, some of us have been saying for months that Calzaghe is a stylistic nightmare for Pavlik. This train sure is getting crowded now ....

I'm a Pavlik fan but I fear it'd be even more one sided than the beatdown Hopkins gave him. Power doesn't come into it - I don't think Hopkins has that much pop any more which is backed up by the fact he couldn't knock him down after all those clean shots he took.

Pavlik must stay at 160. Anything else is just bad management.

I'd like to see Pavlik fight Kessler before he fights Calzaghe--especially now that Bernard beat Pavlik and when RJJ beats Calzaghe we can have Rjj vs Hopkins and when Pavlik beats Kessler we can have Pavlik vs. Calzaghe.
