He's a solid fighter who is very entertaining but his training habits and his lack of size compared to the big heavyweights might make it difficult for him to hang with him given his style. I can see him having a decent punchers chance against Wlad since he is very active, can take a punch, and Wlad's chin can be problematic. Vitali is a whole other story.

I would just label Arreola as a solid heavy weight who can entertain and can go far if he picks the right fights and trains for them, but he hasn't been dealt the best cards when it comes to size or skill, maybe work ethic either.

Hey he is an entertaining buzzsaw in the ring, throws lots of punches with good power and fights at a good pace.

What is not to like? The heavyweight division could use more like him. He definitely is worth the ticket price anyway. He brings some excitement for an American Heavyweight which is very needed right now.

How far he will go is anyone's guess. Why not just enjoy the ride? It may last, it may not. The ride is usually better than the destination anyway.

In his fight with Chazz i remember the announcers saying Chazz had only been boxing a few years, i expected them to say the same for Chris, when they mentioned that Arreola had been boxing since he was like 12 i was blown away. How can you do somthing for more then half your life and not even be able to grasp the fundementals.

-He SEEMS to have a chin but it hasn't truly been tested yet
-He leans forward from the waist like he's checking to see if his shoe-laces are tied up, He'll get decapitated against anyone with half a brain and a good uppercut in their arsenal
-He ****s his elbow out when he's throwing punches alot of the time, looks weird but does seem to have some power in spite of this

basically he's tough and will take a good beating but any real top ten guy will school him, face it there doesn't seem to be any legitimate American heavies, deal with it and stop pumping this ****in guy.

I'm Always going to root for Slavic fighters but i'm also rational about it Dimitrenko,Boytsov,*****ko,Ustinov all have shortcomings but there is real substance, talent and potential. Oleg Platov on the other hand, while i'm a fan i realize he is limited and probably won't ever be a serious contender, just a tought SOB who can throw bombs and entertain. Please try to be real with this stuff, the Arreola hype is getting annoying.
be patience you have yet to learn

I think other guys have more potential to be better then im but ya kno, righ now Arreola is the best aiight? Now, dude is a slow power puncher who's overweight...that's jus the way it is and who he chooses to be. I think Walker and him will be one of the most entertainin heavyweight fights of the year and but I think Walker bein underrated. He's got good power but head hunts too much, dude shud work the body especially wit Arreola's soft body.
WTF?? Papito?? I hope to gawd your a woman....

Why is a heavyweight with good punching power, an iron chin and a high workrate being dissed? I thought that's what boxing fans have been looking for. If you'd rather see the Klitschkos jab their opponents for as long as they last then I don't understand your concepts of boxing. I've seen Arreola's last two fights and I like his agression and the way he puts combinations together. For someone that's supposedly open for uppercuts this guy sure knows how to set his opponent up for his own uppercuts.

I'm not saying he's the next best thing, but I can see him coming a long way. The biggest difference between him and Thompson and Brock is that he's got a chin and hasn't tasted the canvas

I have been to a few of his fights were he gets tagged bad. He can take a punch great. There was one fight early in his carrer that he was getting the crap beat out of him for about 3 rounds then he woke up and the fight was over,so I know he can take a punch well. Alot of people that I know who have been in boxing for years and years think highly of Chris. We will all see on 11/29 I'll be in the first row ringside watching him WIN. If you knew Chris you would know Alex and Danae is in his heart and that is all he needs to have the will to be the next Heavyweight champ
