I would never box. For the same reason I don't get into fights either. From my perspective, I acknowledge that the guy across from me can kill me if I fight behind the intentions of not trying to harm him and being safe. Practicing playing it safe can get you hurt or worse on the wrong day/night. It really is kill or be killed from a mental stand point to me. I'd rather not entertain the idea just because I don't know when to quit and could end up dead myself, and IF I could make it and go far, nobody would like me because on what I think taking up boxing means. You're pretty much a hired gun, and I'd perform that way, even if it meant my opponent or myself could die, and I wouldn't be very remorseful about finishing because in the back of my head I'd know it could easily be me in that position if it was a dangerous situation.

I'd much rather focus on trying to be a better and peaceful person and read my bible. And it's a good thing not too many fighters exhibit my personal feelings on boxing because then I couldn't even watch it.

im not just bigging up cause im a Norris fan but you will struggle to find a fighter who enjoyed punishing people as much as Terry Norris he was a brilliant Boxer but deep down he was a gunsliinger at heart who loved toe to toe action thats why his fight were so fun to watch + the fact he was liable to get Ko'ed on KD himself

Duran v Moore ive never seen the full fight TBH just highlights of the end it,it looked pretty god fight though

Well, everyone is aware of the flagrant hypocrisy so-called Christians exhibit. I own up to my faults though, and try to get better at not backsliding. I'm nowhere near perfect, just like no one else is, but I couldn't personally be into studying the word and boxing feeling the way I do about it. It would never be for me.

              Good stuff.

Even though those fighters who undeniably have the killer instinct are the ones who make me question the ruthlessness that man can possess, it's the same mother****ers who are so compelling.

                yeah

i think Mike Tyson fought on a lot of fear TBH i think Tyson was like a timid animal that gets scared and the first thing an animal does when threatened back into a corner etc is attack i think a lot of his agrresion was pent up fear and that is why he was so brutal and unforgiving in the ring

I'd have some problems with it, definitely. The idea of rendering someone brain damaged for the rest of his life would probably make me very fond of body shots.

                    nope.

I used to box and kick box a little when I was a teen, and it turns out I don't like getting punched and kicked and I didn't like the feeling of when I connected solidly on someone else either, it's all too real. I'm like Arsene Wenger I'm a voyeur.

lol, when I was 15 I had a fight in a park with a chav that lasted 15 minutes, in the end I just stopped fighting. I was worried for us both. I'm soft as ****e.

I remember when you had your record in your sig when you lost your first couple of fights, and then you had your first win. You should make a comeback

I actually kinda enjoy getting hit whilst sparring to be honest. Not that I would get caught on purpose, but just that I liked trading punches with people. I haven't been to my gym for months, but sparring was always my favourite aspect of it.
