43 year old Hopkins win over Pavlik more impressive than Foreman over Moore?

Emanuel Stewart said more than once that Bernard Hopkins beating a fighter 17 years younger than him was more impressive than 45 year old Foreman over Moore. Stewart based it on that fact that George lost almost every round big before landing the late KO punch.Hopkins dominated. I personally think that Hopkins had the tougher task because Pavlik IMO is a better fighter than Moore was or at least has a better chin and much more resilient and active in the ring. Any thoughts?.

i think hopkins over pavlik was more impressive than foreman over moore.

foreman got a little lucky in my opinion in the end...he was headed for a big UD LOSS and pulled it out of the fire...which was exciting to watch...but as far as more impressive goes a 43 year old fighter absolutely OWNING a prime 26 year old middleweight champion was much more impressive in my opinion.

he had him beat at nearly every turn in that fight...

Definitely. Foreman wasn't beating Moorer like that. He caught him with a good shot. Hopkins utterly dominated Pavlik.

I'll agree with every word of that. Foreman was taking a beating before he caught lightening in a bottle.

yes, because foreman won with a one punch ko after being dominated the entire fight. bernard outskilled pavlik the whole fight on all aspects, and this is much more impressive than the other case.
hopkins was just amazing and i really have a new incredibe admiration for him....i thought he was gonna lose, but i was tooooootally wrong.
i just hope pavlik learns from this and returns stronger....i admire him very much too and despite of being totally outclassed on this fight, he is still young a can improve his weaknesses and become a real monster.

Foreman used what never left him, his power, and scored a KO that noone saw coming. Hop TOTALLY outclassed a young lion for 12 rounds straight. It was unbelievable, he gets that nod.

I agree. Hopkins totally outclassed his opponent, Foreman had to rely on a big 1 punch come from behind victory while being badly beaten for the while fight.
