    hmmm....

not so clear... Jones did not age gracefully and in recent years Hopkins just did so much more, but Toney, Hopkins and a HW title are better than anything on Hop's resume by a mile.

lol is all I am going to say to that. Hopkins was 29 and had 20+ pro fights, so yeah he was not the sublime ring general and tactician that he became later, but he wasnt green by any means.

Jones wasnt at his best at 160 either although more experienced than Hopkins.

Styles make fights, If Hopkins has trouble with Taylor and Calzaghe imagine with Jones. I mean what could the best version of Hopkins do to deal with Jones?

I want to say Hopkins, but RJJ did win a HW title... something that hasn't been done in 100 years. And also RJJ has a win over Hopkins.

Hopkins has more meaningful and memorable wins. Jones has only fought Hopkins and Toney, over a decade ago. Besides that he's only beaten bums with the biggest of those bums being John Ruiz. And yes the Tito that Roy fought was also a bum.

Add more notable wins to each fighter if i forgot someone
You could make a case for either. Jones beat bigger guys, and Hopkins mainly beat smaller guys. Arguably, all the biggest names Bernard beat were smaller men who shone brightest in lower weight classes.

Due to name recognition, Hopkins has the overall more impressive list of victims, although his resume isn't quite as rosy as it seems at first glance.
