Hopkins always had the better resume honestly, but Roy was considered the more talented and better man head to head. Hopkins' resume is much, much better than Jones'

oh i forgot jones also beat trinidad but in a less stunning fashion than jones and in a meaningless fight

As well as the names on his resume it should also be noted that Hopkins has beaten the only two fighters that beat jones!
