My stance has not changed. I think Joe will win, but I give Roy a great chance.

I don't believe there is anyone in the game right now who is better than Joe at making adjustments to different styles. He is a master of doing that. Joe Calzaghe will find a way of defeating Roy Jones, most likely.

PS: Hopkins would also beat Jones.

Joe is faster then roy now, and throws more. I have 100 percent confidence that Calzaghe will win. Calzaghe is also underrated by a lot of people.

Nope I've always said it's a much more dangerous fight for Calzaghe than Hopkins and I stand by that. I still think Calzaghe win, but even a fairly shot RJJ has the power and speed to KO anyone.

On a side note, I wonder how inspired RJJ feels now after watching Hopkins school Pavlik?

I never thought Nard was as past it as made out, and have been proven right.

I don't think Roy is as past it as often made out. Hops can get away with it, with his style more, but Roys adapting somewhat to suite aswell and he's still top 10 in the division and elite, so is in with a good chance. Still got Joe by UD but it's not as definite as some ppl like to claim.

he may be faster but he's a much less effective puncher nowadays... Roy still has awesome precision, timing and instinct, good speed, decent power... and i think he will catch Calzaghe cleanly with relative ease

and can i just point out for the record that i'm not someone who underestimates JC, he's been one of my favourite fighters for a very long time

and i'm sure seeing Hopkins beat Pavlik will put some fire into Jones' belly

saying that i still believe Calzaghe will win and i will be supporting him, but just thinking about it planted a seed of doubt in my head
              fair play bud

i thought Hopkins had more left than Jones pre Hopkins v Calzaghe and im still of the same opinion regardless of his win last night i feel ring smarts and defence are aways are more conducive to fighting longer into you career

SRL faded very early another fighter whos style was based on reflexes to a lesser extent than Jones but you get what im saying

Yall mustnt have watched the Tito Fight
Jones has changed his style completely
his defence isnt reliant on his reflexes anymore, he puts his arms up and counters off the ropes, something Hopkins was succesful in doing to Calzaghe

you must be a Jones hugger

Trinidad is all left hook Calzaghe is a two handed Southpaw with a high workrate and a good chin

and he has'nt been inactive for how long and fighting miles out of his natural weight div

lets see Roy's adopted style pays off when he fights Calz

RJJ is shot. RJJ beat a washed up Tito. Hopkins beat a prime Pavlik.

                    Calzaghe will beat RJJ.

What do you think it did for Calzaghe? Remember Calzaghe beat that man in his last fight.

Plus Calzaghe is only 3 years younger than Jones, Jones was retired when he was Calzaghes age. Not the same old v. young type of thing.
