...since seeing the old Bernard Hopkins beat the peaking Kelly Pavlik who was seen as "the Man" before the fight (or one of the Men)
i can see a few parallels between the two fights... the old and supposedly washed up great versus the undefeated fighter who's on top of the world at the moment... but more importantly, the fact that everyone knows Hopkins had a style advantage over Kelly, but thought he was too old to "execute" the game-plan so to speak, and i think it's fair to say the Jones vs Calzaghe fight is a similar situation, with the deciding factor being just how much Jones has left in the tank, rather than how good Calzaghe is
agree/disagree? has the Hopkins win given confidence to Jones supporters? or put a little bit of doubt in the back of Calzaghe supporters' minds? do you think the experience advantage Calzaghe has over Kelly is enough stop him from being Pavlik'd?
