Pavlik is more like a young kid who lost to one of the greatest MW champs in history. Pavlik is not in his prime yet and lost to a living legend. I didnt see him quitting on his stool thats for sure.

Or is he more like a Lacy? Or are they all mostly the same?

Nothing against Powder, I like the kid on a personal level but in terms of skills: he has none.
You attempt at being funny is embarassing.

Peter is like a wildman who throws clubbing punches.
Pavlik has some fundamentals like jab and uppercut and pretty good defense. He needs more work, and so does Peter but thats about all they have in common..

People should be considering that both Pavlik and Peter fought very skillful, focused, determined opponents. Those fights had more to do with Hopkins and Vitali being good, than Pavlik and Peter being bad.

Some people including myself overrated Pavlik, but now they are realistic. I always rated Peter between #6 and #10 on the top ten heavyweights list, my opinion of him hasn't changed.

Some people are being too hard on both fighters now. Pavlik is a very good, offensive-minded middleweight, one of the top ten fighters from 160 to 175, but will never be an ATG. Peter is a strong heavyweight contender with one-punch KO power, but will never dominate the division.

You really must be a moron calling him a club fighter... I mean honestly your argument is horrible... in no way at all should he be compared to sam peter, lol your comparisions to maskev and toney against miranda and taylor, toneys a legend your right about that but a legend at 160-175 and a few years ago jackass, I would rate maskev about the same as miranda in terms of rank in their respective divisions although miranda was supposed to be the next big thing when kelly beat him, when pavlik beat jermain jermain was the undefeated middleweight champion of the world and if that wasnt enough he beat him again in the rematch, jermain is nasty kelly beat him twice sam peter hasnt beaten anyone of that level... your argument is horrible, also you are retarted if you think abraham is gonna ko pavlik "for the second time" what ever the **** that means since they havent even fought yet, and vitali didnt retire peter

first of all pavlik lost to hopkins. at a weight 10 lbs heavier than his best. he is the mw champion of the world. he destroyed all in his class thus far, and has a great ko pct. what has peter done again? furthermore was wlad overrated when he lost to journeymen corrie sanders? or lame brewster? well was he? because if kelly is overrated than you must say the same about wlad who has more losses to much more inferior fighters than bhop. if you don't agree than your being biased.

fulcrum was exposed as a bitter Jermain Taylor fan. The fact that he discredits the fighter that beat his boy is actually pretty funny.

But of course Taylor "nearly knocked Pavlik out, and won the rematch."

Okay, maybe I'm being too hard on Kelly.

He gave me some very entertaining fights with Miranda, Zertuche, Zuniga, and Taylor, so I still rank him up there with Margarito as one of the most exciting boxers in the game.
