It's about even for me. I'm really impressed Calzaghe is still undefeated though.

Calzaghe does have a close win vs Hopkins but Hopkins was 43 years of age. The big difference is the match making really. Hopkins has faced many challenges, while i only recognize a couple names in Calzaghe's resume and even those were made famous for fighting Calzaghe.
If you mean the greater overall fighter, it's Hopkins. Better resume, Hopkins. Prime for Prime, Hopkins. Better fighter right now, probably Calzaghe.

I think Calzaghe is the better boxer, and would beat Hopkins in his prime. However Hopkins has the greater career, I mean the guy is doing what hes doing at 44.

hard to say - i think once both fighters are rtired we will be able to say but i personally believe that calzaghe is the better fighter now, was the better fighter back then and is more talented and smarter than bernard - but then again i am a JC fan.

He was already greater before he beat Pavlik, but now it's without question.

I think hopkins is the better fighter and boxer, better defense, I think joe has really good foot work fast hands and a good chin.
