Did Hopkins just supplant Mayweather, Jr as "best of his era"?

Hopkins has 2x the resume of Jones and Floyd. Even though he lost some of those fights he never really got beat. Just out pointed slightly and that's debatable.

That's a key factor in my wanting to place Bernard at #1. He's never been hurt, cut, hasn't been knocked down in 14 years, and nearly all of his losses are questionable in the eyes of many fans and experts, minus his debut and Jones.

Floyd fought 75% of his career at LW and below. Then beat a still-good HoF'er at JMW.

The weight jumps are equivalent...and may actually favor PBF.

Imo I would place Mayweather above Bhop. His record is cool but Tito Trinidad, DLH even Pavlick moved up a good amount in weight to fight him.

Hopkins is part of the 1990's era which Roy jones is the best of.
