Hopkins was better, RJJ was better, Pacquiao was better. I mean mayweather may have been better then all 3, but he didnt COME CLOSE to proving it. HE avoided the best fighter in every weight class he visited, and called himself the weltherweight king without ever having fought a welterweight...
How is Pacman better? Drawing with JMM and get beat by Morales.

Hopkins beat 2 fighters who were considered borderline superstars that were in there primes in Tito in 2002 who was undefeated at the time and Pavlik last night. You combine that with victories over Oscar who was still a very good fighter in 2003, Tarver who was in his prime, Glen Johnson back in 1997 who was also undefeated at the time and Winky Wright and that's a hell of a resume.

I actually think Hopkins resume is more impressive than Ray Leonard's.

me too undoubtedly. Floyd is a top fighter skill wise, but Hopkins has accomplished more than Floyd and Jones.

Bhop is definitely a superior fighter. I do think he is more comfortable at his current weight though.

Yo real talk, I'm gonna have to say yes. This **** he did was impressive. This fight has to make you realize , he would've Knocked Jermaine Taylor out had he fought one extra round. Because he almost got the kid outta there. MAn I'm so proud to be B HOp Fan. Seriously for some reason I just feel so proud to say I I paid attenbtion rooted and prayed for him. B HOP is the greatest of this era in his sheer will to Overcome stereotypes, statistics, theories, and of course all the odds. No luck in Bhop;s Game. At this point I don't think either Roy Jones nor Calzaghe xan beat him. I think he has one more fight left and he's still yet to be hurt. I MEAN DAMN, how don't u get hurt after figths with Oscar, Tito, Jones, Calzaghe, Pavilik, Jermaine Taylor, Winky Wright....I think this victory will make Calzaghe and Jones want to retire directly after whoever wins their bout or they'll probablyu pulla ***** move and fight rematches. If anything let him avenge his loss to Taylor Jones or Calzaghe cause we all know he's better than JOnes now in his old age and has a way better counter punch and chin. Slap Happy Calzaghe got his ass handed to him , knocked down and wobbled. The decision was all he got along with an ass whooping. Taylor is ruined and deserves to lose to Hopkins. B HOP IS EITHER THE GREATEST FIGHTER OF THE ERA!!! OR THE GREATEST STORY, EITHER WAY, HE WAS GREAT!

yes, I said in my post that they fought at the 4-7 limit. But it's not like FMJ had a size advantage, so the weight limit was immaterial. it was a JWW fight where neither guy had to bother drying out.

So, what I'm hearing is that Floyd did fight the best at 3-4 of the five weight classes.....and Judah and Baldomir are still (today!) top ten WW's.

Jones may get a couple of demerits for fighting civil service employees.

so beating a ridiculously overhyped Pavlik is now a huge accomplishment? I agree it's impressive at 43, but **** I thought Taylor outpointed Pavlik in February

Joe Calzaghe is the best of the era.

                      He defeated Hopkins.
