Toney has the patience, power, distance/range and skills to beat Hopkins. Toney can play counter or lead. Toney by decision. Too bad these two never meet. But Hopkins can move up in weight and fight Toney, yes the fight can happen its all up to Hopkins!

            Move up to 230 lbs?

Toney would have a lot of trouble with Hopkins' footwork.

You see i mentioned patience and distance/range thats part of what it takes to beat Hopkins. I can see Toney allowing Hopkins to come to him and Toney countering Hopkins all night while slipping shot.

230 you crazy, heavyweight is 210 and Hopkins dont have to move up that high, Toney is just over weight at Heavyweight yes im saying Toney fights fat at heavyweight. He ain't a true Heavyweight he's got a lot of fat on him.

toney would win by Sd or Ud, too smart, bernard is clever when he has the plans all figured out in his head, but as for adjusting halfway thorugh and doing something completely new i dont think hes as good at that.

I honestly think this is a true toss up fight, it would be a pretty technical fight with Hopkins leading more than Toney, he was the more aggressive fighter in his prime which would possibly leave himself open to Toney's counters but then again Hopkins could just switch to counterpuncher mode, throw a couple of punches and then clinch or move away before Toney can come back with anything too dangerous, it's a toss up fight to me.
