    See if you run threw this thread you'll see ALOT of people had it for B-Hop and Joe. It was a close fight that could have gone either way, in the past, I might have called it a robbery but I'll admit I was straight trippin. Wlad is only dude who tought Calzaghe CLEARLY won

      I found it hard to give rounds to Hopkins even when he made Cal look bad, because he just didn't throw any punches.

      I don't care how good your footwork is you don't win rounds based on 2 counters in 3 minutes.

      115-112 Calzaghe.

        Don't remember exactly what I scored it, but I had Calzaghe ahead by 2 or 3 rounds. I thought it was ugly but pretty clear cut.

            I scored it 115-112 and was even more confident of that score the 2nd time around.

            Anyone saying 114-113 to Hopkins I can just about tolerate, but more than that raises doubts as to their judging skills. The official home turf scores were;

            Joe Cortez | judge: Ted Gimza 115-112 | judge: Adalaide Byrd 113-114 | judge: Chuck Giampa 116-111 ~

            People rack on about it being a close SD, it was about the thinnest SD you can get, as close to a UD as you can get - made so by just one point going the other way from one judge, which most disagreed with. That one round scored the other way by that one judge, and you have a very clear UD.

            The two other judges scored with some consensus between themselves, massively differently to that one judge. One scoring Calzaghe winning by a clear 3 rounds, the other a wide 5 rounds, more than Taylor ever managed on ANY score card.

              I had the same score, Calzaghe did look very active but he wasn't landing anything, even in the highlights. He landed only 3-4 solid shots that entire fight, if that even.

                I scored it 7 rounds to 5 first time I watched it but I was pissed. 8-4 when sober. It was boring and had close rounds but theres no way Hopkins did enough actual boxing to win a 12 round contest. Neither did Joe but slapping scores more than holding, headbutting and pretending to be hit by low blows

                One of the biggest false controversies in boxing.

                    I had it 114-113 for Calzaghe but many of the rounds were so close it could've gone either way. I couldn't believe one of the judges had it 116-111 for Calzaghe. That was just downright ridiculous.
