I'm tempted to root for Jones now just to see the rematch a reality. That would be one of the best stories in sports history.

After thinking about it a bit more, I wouldn't mind seeing him fight the winner of Calzaghe-Jones but if he can't get the winner of that fight, I hope he retires.

Joe won't fight B-Hop again so I'm pullin for Roy on Nov. 8......I have to see what Roy does with Joe then I'll make my prediction on a B-Hop vs Roy rematch.

Imagine what a prime Bernard would have done to pavlick. I'm hoping the pavlick huggers will recognize that there fighter is overated, and guys like Roy b-hop and Calzaghe are the best at 168 and there is no need for them to retire.
True they are not as good as they were, but they are still all better than pavlick and for that, they dont need to retire.

                u never know.....money talks!!!!

the only reason calzaghe wouldn't fight hopkins again, is b/c he knows he didn't really win the first time they fought.....

i'd personally rather see bernard get calzaghe again, but if roy wins, that fight WOULD be huge! hopkins-jones II!!!!

one thing about hops, is he makes it a point to beat the guy-who beat the guy-who beat him, if that makes sense!

                rjj>hopkins, tarver>rjj, so hopkins>tarver
                "taylor>hopkins," pavlik>taylor, so hopkins>pavlik
                "calzaghe>hopkins" rjj>calzaghe, so hopkins>rjj

by the way, i put those taylor and calzaghe fights in " ", cuz to this day i say bernard won all three of those fights...........

                  Bernard the greatest

Unbelievable. This is a great win for Golden Boy Promotions and the legendary boxer B-hop. Great way to shut up the naysayers. With the Mosley knockout over Mayorga, the B-hop execution of Pavlik, all that left is the Hatton victory and the De la Hoya knockout of Pacquoia to make this the year the year of Golden Boy.

I would also love to see Hopkins fight Mayweather jr. I know its a fantasy match but hey, if oscar and pacman could fight, why not these two? If it happened, Hopkins would annihilate him and teach him to respect his elders. Good job B-Hop.

BH you can keep crying you lost to the white boy JC. But no matter how much JCs record is scrutinized, he will always have the win over BH.
ANd no matter how much BH defies age and how many upsets he causes, history will show he lost to JC. So people will assume JC would have beaten all the people BH beat. For example even though BH beat Pavlik, people will assume JC would have as well. Well why shouldnt he? Noone has beat him, including BH.
