You can praise Hopkins as a fighter all night long, and I'll admit he's a damn good one, but if he's twice the fighter as Taylor or Calzaghe he shouldn't have even been in the position to lose decisions to them in the first place. Stop sticking up for ****ty performances, even if they come from talented fighters. If he's that good, he should've stepped it up. The end.
This is what im talking about totally agree.
People make too many excuses for Hopkins losing to Taylor and Calzaghe, fact is they deserve credit.

I should mention Calzaghe move up in weight to fight the naturally bigger man in Hopkins.
Wonder if Hopkins will fight the top dog in his weight class in Chad Dawson or is fighting someone in his weight class too much of a risk?

You can't call two SDs and one UD in fights in which Hopkins was the less active, less productive man for 1/2 the fight ROBBERIES. Get a clue. If you leave a razor close fight in the hands of the judges, you take what you get.
You said Taylor or Calzaghe aren't half the fighters BHOP is. If that's the case, why was he in the position to lose decisions in the first place? Defend your statement.

I already gave credit to Calzaghe and barely any to Taylor. The fact is Hopkins has a good arguement for winning 2 of those fights (the second Taylor and the Calzaghe) fight, especially the second taylor fight. Not the first one. Just because Hopkins beat Taylor up a lot by the second half in the first fight does not mean he won it. He started to late.
The calzaghe fight could have easily gone the other way, but if people scored it closely for Calzaghe, then that's fine too.
Oh and the weight had nothing to do with this fight.
