And i won't hold this fight aganist Pavlik. Look, we can recall how Morales wanted the 3rd fight at 135 only 5 pounds, Pacquiao and Roach said it'd be too much of advantage to Morales. Pavlik moved up to fight the natural light heavyweight in Hopkins more then just 5 pounds that Pavlik gave up.

I think this fight proves just how strong Hopkins is and how really he has always been a light heavyweight, i was surprised he took Pavliks punchs like nothing.

We just got a preview to Pacquiao v. Delahoya, lol. Except Delahoya actually ISN't being forced to make a weight he hasn't made in years so thats a big difference.

I should mention Calzaghe move up in weight to fight the naturally bigger man in Hopkins.

Wonder if Hopkins will fight the top dog in his weight class in Chad Dawson or is fighting someone in his weight class too much of a risk?
Fero you come off like an ass sometimez...Do you know that?

A: Taylor doesnt have the lateral movement that Hopkins has

B: Pavlik looked like ****. I'm a fan of Pavlik and he is always a slow fighter, but his reflexes were SO off. Hopkins fought a great all around fight but he was open for shots and Pavlik just stood there.

no one will ever figure that out, so dont even bother, haha. just as we speak people are talking about how Kessler would beat Pavlik, just because Pavlik got outclassed by someone that Joe beat.

Give them credit for what? Missing every punch they threw and getting gift decisions? Neither one of them is half the fighter BHOP is.

Taylor and Calzaghe are just worse style matchups for Hopkins than Pavlik was, primarily due to their speed. Plus neither of them hesitated to throw punches, whereas Pavlik seemed reluctant to let his hands go, probably because he was slow enough that every time he shot a jab, Hopkins popped him once or twice.

This demonstration from Hopkins also goes to show that Taylor's defense needs work. Hopkins beat Pavlik with movement; both lateral movement in the ring and good head movement kept him from getting hit. Taylor would still be undefeated right now if he had learned a thing or two from Hopkins.

Then how did they get 3 combined decisions against him?

You can praise Hopkins as a fighter all night long, and I'll admit he's a damn good one, but if he's twice the fighter as Taylor or Calzaghe he shouldn't have even been in the position to lose decisions to them in the first place. Stop sticking up for ****ty performances, even if they come from talented fighters. If he's that good, he should've stepped it up. The end.

If Pavlik had not gone up in weight you could not say that and Pavlik will beat everybody at middleweight and at Middleweight this fight would have been different.

Why is it that Hopkins has fought nothing but small mean after beating Tarver? Winky, Calzaghe, now Pavlik he has made a career out of fighting smaller men. Why has he not uttered the words Chad Dawson. Calzaghe already beat him so don't sound too ****y.
