Why would he be bad for the sport? He's a LEGEND now and he'll be in the Hall of Fame. Give the guy his due at his age going through training to fight young hungry and strong guys. He gave Pavlik a boxing master class.

I mean cmon, seems pretty inspirational to me.
Hopkins proved his greatness tonight, but for new fans or critics when they see an old man beating up a young champ that gives them the impression boxing is dying. The mma already and somehow inexplicably has network coverage although hopefully after kimbo has been exposed that will end, and you know those nuts are laughing at this. Everytime Hop beats any younger champ it makes the sport look bad. Does anyone remember how many times the sporting press slammed boxing after Foreman won the title at 45. It was brutal man, let's hope that Hop calls it a day and lets the next generation get their time to shine.
