I was wrong about the TKO,but this was a easy night for Hopkins as i expected. It came down to matchups and i think Bernard saw this as a easy chance to gain respect and glory again. The boxing media was on the Kelly Pavlik bandwagon.
I thought B-Hop would win this fight easy because i thought Pavlik was much slower than Calzaghe and more of a guy who had power but came straight at you, basically plodding forward. This style is taylor made for Hopkins.
Now a guy like Chad Dawson who has exceptional speed, great counterpuncher and boxing ability, i seriously doubt Hopkins would take him on. It was all about the matchup and Hopkins saw this as a easy matchup for him to get his respect back.
