I think Pavlik is taylor made for Hopkins. Not exactly Tito Trinidad style, but i see similarities and i dont think Kelly will have the ability to make adjustments like Hopkins can.

Expect Hopkins to box and use a lot of side to side movement and nail Kelly with consistent straight right hands throught the fight and eventually stop him in the 10th round. I actually think this is a easier fight for Hopkins than Calazghe was because Joe had exceptional hand speed and was very active. I dont think Pavlik holds the speed advantage over Hopkins. If anything its about even.

Hopkins will use a lot of side to side and in and out movement and land straight right hands throught this fight.

Pavlik is "Tarver lite". This should be easy as hell for 'Nard.

On paper it's a huge mismatch in my eyes.

If Hopkins loses I'll show Pavlik the respect he deserves. But he won't.

Hey, Bringer, care to bet another 50 K on Hopkins? I'm picking Kelly.

          I'll bet 100 K if you like.

It has been a good while since he has gotten a KO. I doubt that he can KO a guy who isn't a blown up welterweight.

Sorry guys, I'm not taking any more bets on this fight. I'm a point whore and I'm still awaiting the bill for another custom sig banner by Hyperion.

Trinidad wasn't a blown up Welterweight. He fit perfectly at 160 and detonated William Joppy (32-1-1), a damn good career Middleweight in his own right, and a guy Hopkins himself couldn't put the finish on in their fight.

Oscar was blown up, Winky was blown up. Trinidad and Tarver weren't, and they're the perfect analogies for this fight with Pavlik.

pavlik is not a natural welterweight.
