because hes a bad loser with no class ..................... he makes a fool out of him self time and time again eveyone knows calzaghe beat him!!!! hopkins didnt even know witch corner to go to, and cheated by fakein low blows .............. all of witch were distress signals
but I don't get it. Taylor and Calzaghe didn't make the decisions the JUDGE'S did.
If Taylor and Calzaghe had lost they would've been respectful, because thats you do.
Hopkin has no boxing etiquette.
He's just a brash, confident (not ****y), throwback fighter. You may hate it now but when he's gone there will be no one left cut from his cloth.
It's a simple matter of pride. And although it is common for fighters who drop a decision to show respect to their opponets, it's not a given, and I don't think it should be in every case. It depends on how close it was in my eyes.

thats how I felt about him when I heard his post-fight comments, he showed no class
BUT
watching pre-fight interviews, its clear he's a good guy with a positive message
its a shame he doesn't bring it to his chosen profession

'Nard is just 'Nard, you either accept it or not.
I think it should be a given and thankfully it generally is. Otherwise we're not watching boxing where respect and skill are on show but rather we're watching hate unfold between classless idiots

I prefer my fighters as criminals rather than gentleman. They are not having a spot of tea in there.
They are trying to knock each other's heads off.
Hop didn't bother however to learn social graces because he happens to be very narcissistic and he's not alone among fighters in that regard.
but they weren't 'in there' any longer, the fight was over. Time to be a good guy again.

Possibly, but that disliking or hate almost always translates into a barn burner. I'd rather watch a barn burner between 2 guys who don't like each other than a 12 round point fest between two guys who respect each other too much.
thats a possibility. maybe he was angling for a rematch. still doesn't really excuse it in my book tho
no but the cogs in that old bastards brain never stop turning.
If Hopkins wins tonight and Calzaghe wins, it's rematch time imo. The first fight was intriguing and there is bad blood, Hopkins would have to hop on a plane though.
