Could it be that Sam took the loss like a man? He actually did have the look of disappointment and defeat on his face...
Did you expect him to cry in his corner like Bostice did after his fight with Wlad?Last edited by The Hammer; 10-17-2008, 02:48 PM.Comment

He looked to me to enjy the fact that fight was over. He seemed kinda tense in the build-up as well. Maybe he doesn't have the psyche (word?) to compete in big time bally-hoo boxing.Comment

He looked somewhat relieved that he didn't need to take Vitali's punches in his face anymore.
He probably does lack the heart of a champion, although he took a lot of shots in the fight with Wlad, and went the distance in that one.Comment

The fight with Wlad he did drop him so that automatically made him more encouraged to take some shots and keep winging them despite being outboxed..
With Vitali, there wasn't one second of that fight when he was winning so it was easy for him to be discouraged pretty fast and relieved when the beating was finally over.Comment

Exactly. Peter could not see any hope of winning. The fight with Wlad he did drop him so that automatically made him more encouraged to take some shots and keep winging them despite being outboxed..

That's ace money.
I wonder how much modest heavyweights like Sprott get for giving undefeated German-based fighters a solid workout.Comment
