it appears to me like, the fame and money got to him...

when he was fighting toney it looked like he was motivated, in shape and improving, and then all the sudden, the titles, fame, and belts starte to come his way, and he completely lost the motivation going into the mccline fight and vitali... who knows

Agree. He fought well below what could have been expected. He actually seemed intimidated.

He also had a lousy game-plan IMO. He should have come out guns blazing.

At least he's well off now.

I was wondering why, for all his talk before the fight, he didn't seem that disappointed after retiring in his corner although he has now seemingly disappeared from the face of the earth (no interviews, press conferences or anything).

I'm sure that money will help him get over the loss.

Seems like the Germans pay quite a bit more than the Americans do when one of their stars is in the show.

That seems to be why a lot of guys go their to fight rather than collecting peanuts in the USA.
