I'm not sure Roy hits harder than Lacy "the new Mike Tyson" even though to be honest, just Lacy's such an inferior boxer he doesn't land with full power very often. Roy hasn't brought his heavy weight power down with him.

Even a past prime Eubank using less power landed some decent slugs on Joes young face in rounds he'd never seen before. No way does he hit harder than Kessler, just no way. And Joe took a few of those punches too, so he'd need to land a good few more in succession.

Not saying it couldn't happen and it's more than possible Joe will go down or be in trouble once or twice. But he's never really looked like being KO'd.

I dunno, when these guys reach this age their punching power is only dangerous for about 4 rounds at best. Look at Tarver after round 6 he couldn't punch through tissue paper, and Jones will have to work very hard for the get go. If he went balls out he'd be ****ed and might actually get stopped due to exhaustion.

Unless he takes him out in 4 rounds or less, it doesn't happen.

Roy could beat Calzaghe but not by going for a knockout.

You will all be surprised about the Joe Calzaghe in this fight, compared to all his other fights. Joe can hit very hard, he had 33 fights and 30 knockouts. Took down Eubank with the first shot, took down Byron Mitchell just after being flored.

The thing about Calzaghe is that he fights. And he never faced an opposition that was good enough for him. Hopkins was good, no doubt about that, he still is one of the worlds best. But Joe is a tremendous good boxer, you'll see it november the 8th.

After this fight please stop saying that Joe picks the worst opponents he can pick. 50% of this community says he'll beat Joe and all of you saying that, has to have the balls at least to say that Joe is a good fighter. Anyway I really don't care, every boxing expert on this planet knows that Joe is one hell of a fighting machine.
