No, I just think that Roy Jones Junior is shot and Calzaghe is better at this stage.

I would say Kessler is elite yes, but Lacy definately no. But saying that, the version of Lacy who Calzaghe beat was being touted as the next Mike Tyson, and Calzaghe was the huge underdog everybody was expecting to get blown away in the early rounds. At that point in Calzaghe's career, a win over Lacy in my opinion, was much more credible than a win over a past it Johnson. Now you could say that Hopkins was past it and you would be right, but lets not forget Calzaghe is getting on himself and obviously past his best. He has lost his power, weak wristed, and maybe his speed is also starting to go. A difficult win over a guy who is only 5 years older than Calzaghe, and a better boxer than both Johnson and Tarver, is better than a win against a guy who was twelve years older than Dawson, and who he struggled with. I don't think anyone would rate a win over Adamek better than Kessler, neither would they Tarver.

Just my opinion, but Hopkins, Kessler, Lacy >>> Adamek, Johnson, Tarver.
Fair enough, but where are those fighters ranked now or since? Comparably, Lacy has fought like pure **** since Calzaghe, which severely discredits his best ring performance ever. However, based on how B-hop looked last night, Calzaghe edges the recent resume' now. -end

As a British man (I was born in the same London hospital as Big Joe) I am very proud of the fact that Joe Calzaghe has been a World Champion for well over a decade and that he has beaten the likes of Eubank, Reid, Hopkins, Kessler, Mitchell etc. etc.

However, Calzaghe has only ever fought at Light Heavyweight once in his career and he was rubbish, whereas Roy Jones Jr. has been the Heavyweight Champion of the World.

I am afraid I am going to have to go with a Jones win by TKO.

But Jones couldn't KO Anthony Hanshaw (who was stopped in five by Andre Dirrell), couldn't KO Felix Trinidad when Hopkins knocked him out and couldn't KO the embarrassingly outgunned Prince BadibadibadiSWINGbadibadi either. It's been five years since Jones stopped anyone.
