Roy Jones Jr: "I Can Knock Joe Calzaghe Out"

Former four-division champion Roy Jones Jr. says that he can knock Joe Calzaghe out when the two collide on November 8 at New York's Madison Square Garden. Jones will not come to the ring looking for a knockout, but he believes that his punches are harder than those of Bernard Hopkins and Jeff Lacy and if he lands a shot on Calzaghe's chin, the fight may be over. Not impossible, but unlikely as ****. You better go for a decision Roy.

True, Roy is a bigger puncher than Hopkins, probably than Lacy too...but not a bigger puncher than Byron Mitchell, Kessler, and a number of others that Calzaghe has caught big punches from.

If Roy knocks Calzaghe out, it won't be from a single big punch. It'll be from a combination that lands perfectly and gets Zaggs in a bit of trouble and a flurry from Roy that gets the ref to call it.
And this is Roy's only real chance at a win. He doesn't have the gas to take a decision from Zaggs.

Roy Jones is a bigger puncher than Kessler for sure and probably Mitchell as well.

Roy Jones Will win.... Calzaghe has not faced a fighter so talented. Even a faded Roy is better than Joe.

I wouldn't be surprised if he rocks Calzaghe, I've been envisioning a counter right uppercut off the ropes but I doubt he knocks Calzaghe out.
