Lightweight Alex Arthur says he handled Nate Campbell in sparring

Former WBO super-feather champ Alex Arthur will make his lightweight debut in December and says he handled Nate Campbell in sparring.
Please excuse the blatant self-promotion and read the full story here:

The title of this thread is misleading, you make it seem like he said he handled Campbell like he took him out. But he actually said "I’ve still got the tapes and I handled Nate Campbell fine." meaning he coped alright in the ring with a top lightweight, but didn't actually do anything special.

I'll get Nate Campbell's perspective today. It would be very surprising to me if Alex Arthur "handled" Nate Campbell.

He said he sparred Campbell before one of the Peden fights, so it must have been a few years ago.

Lads handled in England means like to handle, handle yourself, handle your own, not beat the guy up or anything.

It basically means to not lose nor win.

            He basically said he coped.

Arthur wouldn't come out with brash statements anyway. He is a devout Christian.

I scored it 120-107 for Paul Williams.
