Let's say you're being dominated by Margarito, would you give up?

Agreed cuzz. Only the real *****s understand this frame of mind.I can honestly say that I would never quit. He would have to beat me unconscious or the ref would have to stop it. I don't know how good my chin is. In this case, having a bad chin would be good for my health because I would be spared the beating. One thing's for sure though, I would never quit. Quitting is just not in me. I'd never take a knee. I would not look to my corner with puppy dog eyes and crocodile tears, hoping they'd throw in the towel. That ain't me, man.Comment

Yup.Re-assess, indeed. You don't KNOW what kind of character you have until you actually step through those ropes. Stepping through against a world class fighter is a whole other can of beans. Its easy to say what you would and wouldn't do from behind a keyboard. All that changes when you actually get punched and are tired, out of wind and in pain.
When I started boxing, I assumed I could take punches. A few body shots showed me other wise, being him in the body HURTS. And I mean, really it does. This was me sparring against club level ams. We're talking about a ferocious, non stop, power punching ELITE P4P fighter here. I can't imagine fighting anyone that good.
It's frustrating when you can't catch someone enough to effect them, and they can touch you. You think you could take lamping someone in the face as hard as you can and have them smile at you and batter you.
Seriously, I doubt anyone (Or at least 98%) here would have a chance to quit. They would get ****ed up.Comment
